KC Sewing CompanyLLC is the cut/sew department of Fashion Tech Kansas City. In industry speak, Cut, Make & Trim department. I specialize in high quality sewn products and focus on Zero Waste in my micro factory. This was my first business in the industry and my company has evolved and I still provide this service as part of the packages.

Stitchers are trained for each product and mentored as independent sewing contractors. This model has worked very well since each one has a specialty and likes working in their own micro factory.

We produce your sewn products as if they were our own, taking great care to conserve your raw materials. 

There is no MOQ-Minimum Order Quantity but clients are required to go through the Pre-Production steps of having a Production Pattern made and the Sample sewn to be able to bid for production. This also ensures the item is being sewn in the most efficient way and that we know your product before production. These steps are part of a clients package.

Sample prices will differ from production prices. During the sample making process, steps for engineering the item for sewing multiples are done as well as calculating the yardage for the items. The sampling process is how we calculate the cost of the labor for cutting/sewing.

All raw materials must be in the workroom to start the job plus a half down payment. Then you will be put in the queue.
